Most people come to me with an idea for their home long before they know how to turn it into something buildable. They can picture the deck, the backyard studio, the shed, the garage, the small shop, or the remodel they want to tackle, but getting from that first idea to a clear set of plans can feel confusing and a little overwhelming.
That's where Imagine That comes in. I help homeowners turn those early ideas into practical, permit-ready drawings that make the next step feel a lot more manageable.
I work on residential deck design, accessory dwelling units, and smaller projects throughout the Greater Seattle Area, and I especially enjoy helping with the kinds of jobs people want to do themselves but still need drawings for first. That can include site plans, elevations, basic concrete pad and footing calculations, and the kind of straightforward documentation that helps a project get off the ground without making it feel bigger or more complicated than it needs to be. I keep my process personal, simple, and affordable, and because I'm a draftsman rather than a fully licensed architect, I can offer a lower-cost option that works well for smaller projects and quicker turnarounds. And if a project needs structural input, I work with trusted structural engineers who can step in with stamped plans when required.
